Bardfest funds raised.
by Gary Howard

The sun has just set on the 10th Bardfest and as promoted, it was the biggest and the best yet. Bardfest had over 8,000 visitors over the weekend which, for an event organised and run purely by volunteers, is an amazing result.

All the money raised goes towards local community sporting projects with the largest being the build of a £400,000 community sports pavilion. That is why Precision Marketing Group got involved, to assist the Bardfest team in any way we can to promote the event to ensure its success.

As a primary sponsor, we wanted to include a local charity that is very close to our hearts, St Nicholas Hospice Care to benefit from our involvement to raise funds.

Cash cards, printed free, were purchased by visitors and then redeemed at the end of the night to cash in what is remaining on the card. The team at Bardfest agreed to donate this money to St Nicholas Hospice and raised a fabulous £601.

We believe that we have a responsibility to do what we can for our local community and through our support for Bardfest and St Nicholas Hospice we are doing what we can, where we can.
